In today’s fast-paced world, the need for innovation and know-how has never been greater. Entrepreneurs constantly seek opportunities how to accelerate their ideas into successful businesses, and that is why we launched our AceON spring Pre-accelerator.

AceON Demo Day: Atmosphere of excitement

After almost two months of intensive workshops and mentoring from 16 mentors and speakers, 13 start-ups made it to the finale – Demo Day that took place on July 22, 2023. Our start-ups only had few minutes to pitch their ideas in front of the jury from family office ZAKA VC and BPO company Accace, who co-founded AceON Accelerator.

The atmosphere was charged with excitement. Our founders' pitch decks were persuasive and flawless. The start-ups pitched sustainable, automated, or bots-backed solutions, AI-powered and tech ideas.

As the pitching session is slowly heading toward the end, jury must decide which founder shows the best potential and holds the power of innovation. After short fireside chat with Bohumil Pokštefl and Patrik Ruman led by Peter Brejčák, we were all waiting for the announcement of the winner. But here comes the twist.

The winner(s) of the AceON spring Pre-accelerator

The spring pre-accelerator has two winning start-ups – Wopee.io and Mapheim.

Mapheim is a platform that enables businesses to create interactive maps easily and low-cost. It connects the physical and digital world and provides a better experience for visitors of fairs, conferences, festivals, or parks.

Wopee.io is autonomous testing platform using bots to improve efficiency and reduce waste in development and testing.

Both winners embody the qualities of successful entrepreneurs with a thirst for constant growth and improvement. Congrats to Mapheim and Wopee.io, as well as to other start-up teams who joined the journey of AceON Pre-Accelerator.

Fun fact: one of our start-up founders pitched his deck online from wedding. That is what we call a determination. 😊
